    This is so overlooked. People who support stronger gun laws must reckon with the fact that gun-rights supporters in Congress actually believe in their position and, more so, their voters do, too. The money doesn't hurt but it's not the main reason lawmakers oppose new gun laws.

    Agreed. It’s *shocking* to me he was still on interim and makes me wonder what came back from *his* background check...

    I just don’t understand how McGahn didn’t have a full clearance that late, and wonder if it explains him looking the way on everyone else.
