PyPI Backend Outage

Resolved - From 07:11 UTC to 07:45 UTC the hosting region that PyPI resides in experienced a loss of internet connection.

Uploads, the XMLRPC API, and website experienced downtime during this window. The simple index, package hosting, and JSON API remained available via our static mirror via failover.

We noted that our status page integration failed to appropriately report the status of the individual components that were unavailable, and will be working to repair the automation that updates those statuses.
