Google Compute Engine is a powerful, scalable, and affordable cloud solution for handling large computing workloads.

  • To use these Choreos:
    

    • You'll need a Google account. If you don't already have one, you can sign up here.
    • Login to Google's Developer Console, and create a new Project if you haven't done so already.
    • Using the API Manager, make sure you've enabled API Access for the Google Compute Engine API in the Overview tab.
    • Under the Credentials tab, create a new Client ID and specify Web application for the Application Type.
    • When configuring the Consent Screen, make sure you fill out the Email Address and Product Name fields.
    • Save the Consent screen details. Specify this callback URL as the Authorized Redirect URI:

    https://{Your Temboo Account Name}.temboolive.com/callback/google

    • Run the Google > OAuth > InitializeOAuth Choreo, specifying the Client ID from the app you registered at Google and at least one of the following Scopes:

    https://www.googleapis.com/auth/compute
    https://www.googleapis.com/auth/compute.readonly

    • Open a new web browser, navigate to the authorization URL returned by the InitializeOAuth Choreo, and click "Accept" to grant the app access to your Google account.
    • Run the Google > OAuth > FinalizeOAuth Choreo, specifying the callback ID returned earlier by the InitializeOAuth Choreo. This process will return a Refresh Token which can be used along with the Client ID and Client Secret to authenticate with Google.
