Nancy joined Internet Society as Chapter Development Manager, Latin America and Caribbean Region in May 2015 .  

Nancy began her first contact with ISOC in 2010 as co-founder and board member of ISOC’s Costa Rica Chapter. Since then, she got interested in the evangelization of the Internet as a tool and mechanism for countries’ development.  

Prior to joining ISOC, Nancy worked as consultant in different business areas as: business strategy, project management, marketing, sales and data mining. Before working as consultant, she worked several years in transnational and multicultural companies as DHL, Experian, Hewlett Packard and Wal-Mart. She also served as a University Professor in Costa Rica. 

Nancy holds a Master's Degree in Project Management and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. She is a native Spanish speaker and speaks fluent English. Nancy also has basic understanding of Portuguese and French. 

Nancy is based in San José, Costa Rica.
