Synopsis:
IPv4 and IPv6 are different protocols that are not compatible with each other. Upgrading the entire Internet to support IPv6 requires a substantial effort, and requires a migration strategy and transition period so that both protocols can co-exist without breaking the Internet. This course focuses on the different transition technologies when migrating from IPv4 to IPv6.
Target Audience:
Networking professionals planning to migrate from IPv4 to IPv6 networks.
Pre-requisites:
Previous knowledge of TCP/IP and IPv4. It is recommended that participants attend the eIP601 and eIP602 courses prior to attending this course.

- Using Tunnels for IPv6 Deployment
- NAT64/DNS64
- Transition Strategies for different types of networks

- Updated web browser with Adobe Flash Player 11 or above
- Broadband connection running at a minimum of 256kbps or better
- Headset (to reduce noise)
