Kea 1.0 Launched!

Modern, Scalable, Extensible DHCP Server

Kea is a new server for allocating IP addresses and dynamically updating the DNS. Kea can optionally store leases in a separate Postgres or MySQL database, and is easily extensible, with built in hook points to integrate your own logic or provisioning system.  Kea supports the DHCPv6 Prefix Delegation feature, which delegates to routers to manage addresses for local machines. Kea 1.0 adds support for lease expiration, lease decline, PXE boot, and basic client classification.

Like our other software, Kea is free open source. We offer professional technical support contracts for all of our open source software.
