The 1998 INET conference proves to be a great success, with high attendance for both the regular sessions and the Developing Country Workshop reflecting Geneva’s status at the time as home to one of the largest and most active Internet Society chapters. With the increasing intersection of the Internet and World Wide Web with all areas of society, INET ’98 sees a greater focus on legal policy, as well as the addition of a Health track of presentations, discussions, and workshops.
