How do you calculate the number of supported Docker Engine

Docker Hub is not only a registry service but the system where you manage your Docker account, license keys and download supported software.
Do I need to license for all of the servers in my infrastructure?
No, only the portion that has Docker installed and you would like support coverage.
Do I need to license for all of my developer machines?
No, you size your environment by the servers running your application either in your pre-production or production infrastructure.

Can I change my plan at a later time?
Yes. Plans are on a monthly or annual subscription that can be upgraded to a different tier. You can also add incremental 10 packs of Engines and instances of Hub Enterprise at any time. Docker will adjust your invoices to reflect the changes.
Can I later switch to Cloud or Server subscriptions with Docker Engine?
Yes. Please request a quote for the Cloud or Server subscription plan you are interested in.
How many public repositories are included in the plans?
Every user account comes with unlimited public repos.
Can I purchase more registry instances, repos or supported Docker Engines?
Yes, incremental 10 packs of Docker Engines are available for Team and Production Editions. Additional instances of Docker Trusted Registry and Docker Hub private repos are also available.
