When you look at the top 5 El Niño years, most see the spike after Nov 15th. Only 1 year (1957) saw the rainfall spike in the first 15 days.

1/3 of the way through November, still no sign of the "November Spike" in rainfall yet for SoCal. So far we have seen a trace of rain in LA.
