Even more #DANE / #DNSSEC / #TLS email testing from Go6lab -

After my two previous posts about deploying DANE/DNSSEC in the go6lab and then testing the top 1 million Alexa domains for DNSSEC, DANE and TLS, I got some additional questions about more tests and requests for help from one IDN TLD provider from Egypt…

An #IPv6 Dance Party -

Our friends at LACNIC created this surprisingly catchy IPv6 song. I’m not sure I have much else to say about it other than, indeed, “IPv6, you’re the one for me.” (Start here if you need help with something other than choosing the tunes you play while you…

Increasing #DNSSEC Adoption - What if We Put DNSSEC Provision in the Hands of Registries? http://ow.ly/PHtYq
There has been a lot of criticism about the worthiness of DNSSEC. Low adoption rates and resistance and reluctance by Registrars to take on the perceived burden of signing domains and passing-on cryptographic material are at the crux of the criticism. I'm a believer in DNSSEC as a unique and worthwhile security protocol and as a new platform for innovation. It's the reason I've long advocated for and continue to work toward a new model of DNSSEC ...

IETF 93 Hackathon July 18-19: #DNSSEC, #DANE, DPRIVE and DNS Security - - #IETF93 #ietfhackathon

How can we improve the tools and services that use DNSSEC or DANE?  How can we make DNS more secure and private?  For a number of us, we’re going to be spending this coming weekend, July 18-19, looking to answer those questions through writing code and…

Time for #IPv6!
I spend most of my time teaching engineers in different countries how to plan and deploy IPv6 networks. Over the last two years, I have been speaking more and more to non-engineers. These are either technology executives who sense that they need to do something about this "IPv6" thing, or government IT leaders who want to understand what the problem is and more importantly, what they could do. The most impactful part of these these exchanges is w...

Apple's making great progress in IPv6! “Based on our testing, this makes our Happy Eyeballs implementation go from roughly 50/50 IPv4/IPv6 in iOS 8 and Yosemite to ~99% #IPv6 in iOS 9 and El Capitan betas.”
iOS 9 and El Capitan will try to drive traffic to v6 hosts
