YouTube API Subject to the Deprecation Policy

The following YouTube API versions and features are subject to the Deprecation Policy (as set forth in your applicable terms of service):

• YouTube Data API, v3, excluding:
  • The channel resource's invideoPromotion part and the ability to retrieve or update in-video promotion campaign data.
  • The contentDetails.relatedPlaylists object, its child properties, and their values for any particular channel.
  • The channel resource's brandingSettings.watch and brandingSettings.hints objects, their child properties, and those properties' values for any particular channel.
  • The following channel resource properties, including their child properties:
    • brandingSettings.channel.moderateComments
    • brandingSettings.channel.profileColor
    • brandingSettings.image.backgroundImageUrl
    • brandingSettings.image.largeBrandedBannerImageImapScript
    • brandingSettings.image.largeBrandedBannerImageUrl
    • brandingSettings.image.smallBrandedBannerImageImapScript
    • brandingSettings.image.smallBrandedBannerImageUrl
    • brandingSettings.image.watchIconImageUrl
    • contentOwnerDetails
    • statistics.commentCount
  • The guideCategory resource and its methods.
  • The search.list method's safeSearch parameter and its values.
  • The video resource's status.publishAt property.
• YouTube Analytics API, excluding:
  • Non-core dimensions. (Please see the dimension definitions to determine whether individual dimensions are considered core dimensions.)
  • Non-core metrics. (Please see the metric definitions to determine whether individual metrics are considered core metrics.)
• YouTube IFrame Player API
• YouTube JavaScript Player API
• YouTube Flash Player API
• YouTube Data API, v2, excluding:
  • The most shared and trending videos standard feeds
  • The fields parameter
  • All Live events functionality (e.g., feeds and parameters)
  • All Partial feeds functionality
  
  

  Note: The YouTube Data API (v2) has been deprecated as of February 26, 2014. In keeping with our deprecation policy, most API functionality that was subject to that policy will continue to be available until April 20, 2015. Support for some API features may be discontinued earlier if the corresponding features are also removed from YouTube prior to that date.
