For statistics, we currently only track programming languages.
Syntax highlighting
If your desired language is not receiving syntax highlighting you can contribute to the Linguist library to add it.
Markup rendering
Markup languages are rendered to HTML and displayed inline using the GitHub Markup library, new markup language renderer contributions are always welcome.
