The Challenge

Online publisher, @cmn, wanted a channel to quickly and effectively re-introduce the brand and drive traffic to its new company blog.

The Solution

@cmn understood the diverse range of information covered on its blog, and came up with corresponding groups of interest keywords. Based on these keyword groups, the company used Promoted Accounts to target individuals interested in each of its sub-categories of content (health and wellness, personal finance, tech, employment and the economy). @cmn also used Promoted Tweets to target search results for category specific terms like #career or #health to provide consumers with interesting content when it was most relevant. Tweets also included calls to action and links to drive consumers directly to the company blog.

The Results

@cmn increased its follower base by over 350%. Twitter also became the top social referral source to the company’s blog, accounting for double the number of referrals received from the second highest source.
