Technical University of Denmark (DTU) and leading Danish companies invite you to be part of the DTU Student Sponsorship Program (DSS). The DSS program is an excellence program supported by the Danish industry offering MSc courses and student sponsorships to excellent European engineering students, who want to supplement their engineering education with an internationally recognized research-based MSc degree at DTU .

DTU is recognized for its strong industry relations, its focus on technological sustainability and for its social and active students’ union. DTU is a relatively small and specialized university of high standards hosting 6,000 students of which more than 700 are from abroad. With approximately 1,500 employees involved in research and teaching DTU has a remarkable low ratio of students per researcher. This low student/researcher ratio facilitates close relations and informal discussions between students and teachers. In 2007, 1,351 students graduated from the DTU study programs. With more than 800 PhD students DTU is truly a graduate university focusing mainly on research based education.
