For the last years really the DMV emulation has been rock solid. The only minor niggle is the cursor - it's a solid block instead of a blinking underscore.
Some change in the last few weeks must have broken something, though.
Trying to format a floppy disk under DOS crashes MAME. It's a standard WinImage *.IMA file, 360KB
Official MAME 0.289 still works, a compile of the current tree shows

rfka01 Very Senior Member R Joined: Jan 2012 Posts: 1,196 Likes: 17 Bavaria	I was going to ask for help anyway, since the CP/M-68K's formatter FORMAT68.68K (which runs on real hardware) quits with the error message "Exception $03 at user address $0000911A. Aborted". However, between a fresh build from top of the tree today and one from the day before yesterday, CP/M-68 is no longer fully booting, it dies after its boot screen has loaded, just before the prompt should appear. Formatting disks works under MS-DOS, CP/M-80 and CP/M-86, they all boot to their respective prompts as well. In the time since the K234 module was implemented all those years ago, the three PALs of the module have been dumped, it seems like a good chance to include them. Re-reading this thread, I think I never actually checked formatting disks under CP/M-68K then. Before that, it booted to the A:> prompt, but formatting disks gave the error I mentioned. An earlier form of (memory) corruption with formatting disks was gone by around MAME 0259. To recreate the error, boot CP/M-68K. Create a new disk image in drive B: and run "FORMAT68", select drive B to format and confirm to format to see it fail with "Exception $03 at user address $0000911A.
