Ah. I'm always on latest src so didn't know about that known issue or that it was fixed.
@ameath: If you are serious about playing with pmac6100 you should be on top of it and use latest src and compile your own MAME. It isn't difficult using the 'made for noobs' how to compile tutorial on my site. A couple of typed commands and a couple of mouse clicks and it's done :-)
I am serious about testing the PowerMac 6100 and offering constructive questions and feedback. I am not a noob, so to speak, and have been posting on a range of Mac forums for years. I have been following the development of Mac compatibility on MAME for many months, and recently compiled my own copy of MAME off source. This was one of the versions I tested with, as well as the initial release of 0.289. However, this was before the 4th of August update, so my feedback may now be out of date. I was not aware I was supposed to only test off list items but I will do that next time. Maybe I misunderstood your tone, and if so please accept my apologies.
