All,
I’ve written some code to extend the enforcer plugin to include a “mutually
exclusive profiles” rule. I’m ready to submit a Pull Request, but I’m not quite
sure of the correct procedure.
In my own projects, I tend to work primarily off a develop branch, folding
features into that and

It is fine to publish this from your own repo without involving the
Maven Project.

I’m a lurker on this list, albeit one that’s wanting to find time to add a
feature to the enforcer plugin.
I’m with Tamás on this, not least because then all code updates will be coming
in through the same route, be they from you outstanding worthies or from us
occasional self-interest
content is safe.
Please start by filing an issue describing what the intended rule will
do. It's easier to understand in prose than code.

As more of a wider question, why would this not be specified in the Parent POM

problem that didn’t really exist. Can someone please point
me towards the discussion behind the introduction of that element so I can

Although I’m just a lurker here, the idea of promoting the use of rebase on a
shared repository seems incredibly dangerous. Or “brave” as some would put it.

I don’t understand why this is so different from an aggregated project, with
${module} above src, but I may be missing the point because I’ve not spent any
time thinking about JPMS yet.
You’re going to give me headaches navigating if you put ${module} anywhere
below either ${scope} or ${lang}

I’m not sure that “every end user” feels that this is an issue, and I’m still
struggling to understand why splitting a monolithic artifact into several
separate modules would ever be considered a minor update.
But, hey. I have popcorn…

Initially, I thought, “that needs to be converted into a plugin”, and then I

Isn't one of the main features of logging that you can do all this by defining
your own logging infrastructure and reporting level “on the fly"?
