This library contains BLAST-related functionality. For now, this library is very limited (and Ketil Malde provides other BLAST functionality anyway).

We do provide parsers for BLOSUM and PAM matrices.

The matrices can be found here: ftp://ftp.ncbi.nih.gov/blast/matrices/
