Drop-In and Office Hours
We offer drop-ins for students not yet registered with D&A, faculty, staff, parents and prospective students with general questions. If you're already registered with our office and want to speak with your access coordinator, email them directly.
In-Person Drop-Ins
No appointment is required, but availability is dependent on staff availability during these hours:
- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and 1:30-4 p.m.
- Friday 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Virtual Drop-Ins
Appointments are required and available during these hours:
- Monday, Wednesday and Thursday: from 9-10 a.m. and 12:30-1:30 p.m.
- Friday: 9-10 a.m.

Campus Carry
The concealed carry of handguns is prohibited in patient care areas at UT Austin, including those areas in which professional mental health services are provided. Because a significant majority of the Student Services Building (SSB) is devoted to patient care, the entire SSB is exempt from the concealed carry of handguns.
