PRTG Catches Network Issues Before They Cause Downtime

Threshold-based alerts flag problems early, so your team can act before users notice, not after.

Reactive troubleshooting usually means hearing about a problem from frustrated users, not your monitoring tool. PRTG sets threshold-based alerts across devices, servers and applications, notifying your team by email, SMS or push the moment a metric crosses a set limit. That means catching a failing disk or overloaded server before it becomes an outage and getting time back from firefighting. Start a free trial and set your first alerts today.

    Marine-Engine-Room-Simulator-for-STCW

    Marine-Engine-Room-Simulator-for-STCW

Marine Engine Room Simulator for STCW

    # ERS-01 — Engine Room Simulator ## What this is ERS-01 is a browser-based engine room simulator for maritime engineering training. It reproduces the core systems of a ship's engine room — main engine, shaft line, generators, switchboard, and auxiliary machinery — as an interactive model that trainees and instructors can operate, observe, and troubleshoot in real time, entirely on a local machine. It is built around STCW-style training: an instructor can run scenarios that introduce faults or abnormal conditions, watch how a trainee responds, and review the session afterward. ## What it does - Simulates a diesel main engine with realistic behavior for starting air, clutch engagement, shaft RPM, load, cooling (HT/LT circuits), and lubrication. - Models auxiliary machinery — fuel, cooling, and lube oil pumps, air compressors, purifiers, boiler, and generators — each with its own running state and possible failure modes. - Drives an electrical switchboard

    Molecular Dynamics Studio

    Molecular Dynamics Cell Construction

This is a collection of software modifications created to integrate NanoEngineer-1, PACKMOL and MSI2LMP for the purpose of easily creating molecular dynamics cells. NanoEngineer-1 is a molecular CAD software written by Nanorex and provides the user an easy way to create molecules, while the software modifications allow the user to type atoms using multiple force fields. PACKMOL can generate a random collection of molecules using the molecule templates from NanoEngineer-1 thus providing the initial MD cell. Modifications to PACKMOL allow the atom type data to be passed through to the MSI2LMP software. MSI2LMP creates a LAMMPS input file based on class I or class II force fields. MSI2LMP was modified to use numerically coded force field data generated by NanoEngineer-1. The MMP file format was extended and integrated into all three software applications. http://www.nanoengineer-1.net http://www.ime.unicamp.br/~martinez/packmol/ http://lammps.sandia.gov/

    nmeasim

    nmeasim

Simulate GPS+AIS sentences and send to a navigation SW

NMEASIM sends NMEA 0183 sentences to a navigation SW such as OpenCpn via a serial com port or a UDP channel. These NMEA sentences simulate data coming from a GPS(sentence $GPRMC...) and an AIS receiver(sentence !AIVDM...) All the parameters : name, mmsi, initial position (lat/long), COG, SOG for my boat as well as for AIS targets, and I/O configuration (com port...) can be edited in the 'datasimul.json' (file created by the app with default values in V1.0) Just Download the nmeasim.exe file (green button above) and launch it. Be patient for a few seconds if you have a slow PC! Go to the 'Files' tab to look at the readme file and download any additional file if needed.
