    Seed7

Interpreter and compiler for the Seed7 programming language.

Interpreter, compiler, libraries, documentation and examples for the Seed7 programming language. Seed7 is a general purpose programming language. It is a higher level language compared to Ada, C/C++ and Java. In Seed7 new statements and operators can be declared easily. Functions with type results and type parameters are more elegant than a template or generics concept. Object orientation is used where it brings advantages and not in places where other solutions are more obvious. Seed7 spares no effort to support portable programming. Several driver libraries assure that the access to operating system resources such as files, directories, network, clock, keyboard, console and graphics are done in a portable way. Although Seed7 contains several concepts from other programming languages, it is generally not considered a direct descendant of any other programming language.

HSPL is Human Speakable Programming Language, allowing for communication between human-to-computer and human-to-human in the same language. This project has moved to http://sourceforge.net/p/spel We are currently working on human-to-computer programming-language with mostly English base vocabulary. Though once we have that, we plan to add support for other world Languages, including Chinese, Spanish, Russian, Arabic, Hindi, among others. Eventually HSPL shall be the foundation of GIOS the General Intelligence Operating System. Which is an open source operating system, that can be used for intelligent robots, computers and technological host-bodies. Regularly post on blog about HSPL at http://weyounet.info/?s=hspl

    Dyalect

    Dyalect

Dyalect is a programming language for .NET Core

Dyalect is a dynamic programming language for .NET Core platform. It is lightweight, fast and modern. Dyalect (or Dy for short) is written in C# and has zero dependencies except for standard .NET Core libraries, which means that it can seamlessly run on Windows, MacOS and Linux. Moreover you can use the same binaries on any of these platforms! Dy runs on the top of its own high performance virtual machine. It compiles fast and can be used as an embeddable language or as a scripting language of your choice. It is also a good language to learn programming. Dyalect offers modern syntax, inspired by such languages as C#, Swift, Go and Rust, first class functions, coroutines, expressive modules, a dynamic type system with an ability to extend existing types with new functions and much more. Dy is shipped with a crossplatform interactive console. Main repo: https://github.com/vorov2/dyalect

This is an interpreted programming language that is designed to teach young children the fundamentals of programming, hiding away from students the complex concepts of programming, such as parentheses, quotes, data types, arrays, while allowing them to understand the basic concepts of programming, and, move to a more advanced language. It also serves as an exapmle on how to create an interpreter with QBASIC. The interpreter is written in QBASIC, and is licensed under the GNU GPLv2. About the unixname: The "shortname" of the project was a typo, but it was too late when I actually realised it. Features that still need to be implemented: Boolean expressions (IF) (If I ever find a flexible way to implement them, because you can't parse user input to a boolean command in QBASIC, without using a dynamically changed BAS file, which is going to fail if using it compilled) The source code should be compiled with either QB64, QuickBASIC or freeBASIC (with the -lang qb switch enabled
