    owfs and owhttpd

    owfs and owhttpd

    Project moved to https://github.com/owfs/owfs/

Please note that OWFS source code, and all Issue/Tickets/merge requests have now been moved to https://github.com/owfs/owfs/. Developer mailing lists will still be kept at Sourceforge. ---- OWFS -- 1-Wire file system. Use the Dallas 1-Wire and iButton chips with standard filesystem commands. Create temperature loggers. Monitor everything. OWHTTPD -- same system, only used as a light weight web server. OWFS is also ported to embedded routers, Mac OSX and Windows. Basically you can use these inexpensive little sensors and other chips with very simple wiring to sense and control the physical environment. The interface is very flexible -- everything from a web browser, to read and writing directly to the chip's "file" to integrating with your programs -- even over the internet. There is a growing number of 1-wire sensors: temperature, voltage, humidity, light, ultraviolet, pressure, thermisters, thermocouples, programmable microcontrollers, relays, lights, LCD panels, etc

    Sorter

    Sorter

Easy and fast file organisation and management in a few mouse clicks

Sorter makes file organisation and management easier by helping you organise several files that contain similar characteristics into a single folder, with a few clicks. You can put all letters documents into one folder, all images with the word home into another, all music by one artist in yet another folder, etc. Sorter organises these files into folders which are grouped according to one or more of the following patterns: a common word in the file names, the file type/format, a custom name and the category of the file formats.

    dracxterm

    dracxterm

An Android terminal that runs Linux without root, with an AI assistant

dracxterm is a terminal for Android. Open it and a shell is waiting. If you want a full Linux, the app installs Debian 13 or Kali inside its own storage, and you work as you would on a computer. The phone does not need root, and there is no account to create. Version 1.1.0 adds claw, an assistant you chat with in the terminal. It uses free model services that need no account, and you choose what it may touch on the AI (claw) page in xset. Programs like nano and htop look right, UTF-8 and CJK display properly, and you get five workspaces plus an extra key row for Ctrl, Alt, Esc and the arrows. Type xset to open the settings, now in six languages. Inside the distro, sudo, apt and dpkg work as usual, and sudo nmap scans. No ads, no trackers, and nothing is sent to the developer. The app goes online to download what you pick, to set up Python and Scrapling for claw's web browsing (you can turn that off), and to send your messages to a model service when you use claw.

    usb-resetter

    usb-resetter

    Simple graphical usb reset tool

USB resetting is the closest equivalent to physically unplugging and re-plugging a USB device. you might ask , How is that useful ? well the use cases will be different from user to another. In my case, it helps with accessing my slightly damaged old USB external hard drive after a mount in unix-like OSes without any i/o issues. Another one is, loop resetting my USB headset solves some weird glitching sound i constantly have while using them. Those are my special use cases. There most be more, that it can help with.

    Jeeva folder utility

File/folder utility useful for comparing/mirroring directories

Full Docs: Download: JeevaX.Y.html Compare folder contents: jeeva --overlap/--mtime/--diff folder1 folder2 --overlap (see files that are in one or other folder, or common to both.) --mtime (files that are newer, the same age, or older ) --diff (files whose content is identical or different) Optionally can recursively descend to a specified depth or completely down folder tree comparing corresponding folders while descending. --copy for mirroring folders, primarily for keeping mirror on another drive or frequent copying to USB stick. Short copying time. Copies only modified and/or newly created files. For both above options one can either Specify the Source and Destination folders OR Specify 2 folders (the roots of the Source and Destination folder systems) and run Jeeva from a folder somewhere below the source root. Will take that folder to be the source, will look for a corresponding folder under DestinationRoot to be destination.

    Advanced Mass File renamer

This is a mass file renamer utilizing regular expression power.

This is a python based UI application that can rename a part of a set of files inside a directory based on the provided regular expression. This gives a lot more flexibility compared to other renaming files since it used grouping principle. This had two level of applying the rename, first stage shows who it will be when you rename it, if you are fine with the change you can make it permanent by clicking commit. This avoid the risk of file getting corrupted. To rename all .py file to .pyc is as follows: Search for Regex: (.py)$ Rename using this regex: .pyw
