AHT Associates LLC is a software development and consultancy firm, continuing Ron Aaron’s development activities with a variety of clients. The company has released a software development environment which enables writing the program code once and producing the final application simultaneously on different operating systems - at the touch of a button.

The system is called “8th”, and it significantly shortens the development time required for producing multi-platform applications. As a result, you get a better return on investment for your development efforts and reach customers faster, in addition to having a significantly lower maintenance cost. 8th currently supports Android, iOS, Windows, macOS, Linux and Raspberry Pi

Founder and CEO, Esther Aaron is a senior tax consultant and has a BA in Business Administration. She has worked as a senior tax consultant both in the United States and in Israel. Her responsibilities include both the financial and operational aspects of the company.

NASCMA	Nano Scale Machining GmbH: Development of a machine-shop supervisory controller using 8th.
	Multiple Android projects over a number of years (still ongoing). Java and Kotlin, primarily.
	Acting as Senior Software Architect. Development of HIPAA and GDPR-compliant medical research and consulting tool for analysis and treatment of cognitive disfunction in the elderly. Using MariaDB, PHP, Javascript, 8th, etc.
	POC: implement “audio injection” on WebRTC in native Android application, using JNI and native Java. POC: face recognition and clustering in browser.
	Native Android and Raspberry Pi applications to interface to dedicated hardware. Continual test framework for their board.
	Optimization and continued development of high-speed genome database.
	Native Android application embedded on set-top device.
	Interface code to retrieve Experian credit data for client software.
	Low-latency financial feeds. Optimized their code and significantly reduced the latencies in the system.
	Mobile security application identifying fingerprints using device camera. Wrote the back-end systems and overall systems architecture, as well as writing one of the mobile applications.
	OEM multimedia software provider. Ported their software to Linux and improved their production and distribution systems.
	Multiple contracts. Portions of NT4, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word as well as the original version of DirectX.

We don’t generally know what our clients do with 8th, because that’s none of our business. Sometimes, though, they let us know:

	An app to calculate Jewish ritual times, for mobile and desktop. Includes the source code as well.
	Internal hardened API and analysis algorithms written in 8th.
	An amateur-radio enthusiast wrote a HPSDR radio controller in 8th.
	An access-control application using QR-codes to verify membership.
	Custom vertical database for tracking student enrollment and progress.
	Mobile application to improve driving safety. Wrote the POC demo application with the help of 8th, helped with algo development.
	Planned embedded communications between controller and device using BLE.
	Planned cross-platform telecare monitoring system.

Software is not built in a vacuum — it depends upon the work of others. 8th utilizes some excellent libraries, and we thank their developers! The libraries used by 8th and their specific versions are listed in the file docs/LIBRARIES.txt in the 8th distribution. None of them are GPL-licensed.
